History Sturminster Newton

Heritage Wareham

An exqusitely beautiful little nave and chancel church with a bell-cote and all it's original furnishings and fittings.


Heritage Blandford Forum
With the exception of the late medieval tower, the church was rebuilt in 1715, probably by one of the Bastard's of Blandford Forum. The plan and elevations are medieval in manner with chequered flint and ashlar walling, but the details are entirely classical.
