Coast and country, wildlife and views Dorset's wonderful environment

This Dorset Wildlife Trust reserve has areas of dry and wet heathland which are home to many wildlife species, some quite rare.

The Green Way wanders across working fields and along lanes in a rural backwater of northwest Dorset. Opened in 2005, the Green Way uses sections of existing public footpaths to link together the village of Drimpton with the hamlets of Netherhay, Oathill, Greenham and Childhay in a 3 mile circle.

The Kingcombe Centre offers education courses, with hospitality and great food surrounded by 450 acres of unspoilt farm/nature reserve immensely rich in wildlife.

Woodland managed by the members of The Dorset Coppice Group which is available for the public to visit and learn about the many woodland traditions and skills that are still practised in the county today.
