The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum Heritage

A beautiful late Victorian seaside villa with Museum, Art Gallery, Shop, Cafe and Gardens. Includes Victorian and Edwardian Art, Japanese Gallery, changing exhibitions, and activities for children.

Sir Merton and Lady Russell-Cotes built this sumptuously decorated house, with its eclectic mix of styles, to display the extensive collection of objects acquired during their travels around the world.

The Art Galleries, opened in 1919, house examples of work by leading Victorian and Edwardian artists as well as special exhibitions.
