The four aspects of: the Arts, Disability, Environment and Personal Growth/Spirituality are incorporated and developed within what is offered at Holton Lee.
Much of the 350 acres of Holton Lee is designated as SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and managed for nature conservation. The Charity operates as a place of refuge, where people may discover ways of integrating the creative, spiritual and physical aspects of themselves, within a supportive environment.
Faith House Gallery offers a regular programme contemporary art exhibitions, show-casing the work of disabled artists on a national and international scale. There is also an annual exhibition which displays the work produced within Holton Lee’s expanding workshop programme – including ceramics, printmaking and watercolors/pastels. There is an opportunity for disabled artists to enter work into an annual Competitive Disability Arts Open, details of which can be obtained from contacting Holton Lee. Faith House is also available to hire for functions, such as Weddings and conferences.
The Stables Studios offer four individual accessible spaces in a range of sizes, which can be hired on short or long term basis from half day workshops to longer residencies. Consideration has been given to the space and light requirements for various art forms. The studio site comprises of a refurbished stable block with four studios, adjoining common room and a ‘Dutch Barn’ which provides outside workspace. Studio information packs can be sent out to artist’s interested in using the space.
Holton Lee offers accommodation on site in the Barn and Cottages for holidays, activities, retreats and relaxation, with an opportunity to explore, discover and enjoy the unique and diverse environmental habitats of woodland, reedbed, heathlands and saltmarshes.
There is also a camping field which facilitates a regular range of events from car shows, community based activities and educational visits.

From London take the M3 then onto the M27 which becomes the A31 by-pass (Ringwood). Then take the A350 South to the A35. Turn right onto the A35 and follow signs for Dorchester. At the Baker’s Arms roundabout turn left onto the A351 signed Wareham for ¼ mile. Turn left just after the Romany Trading Estate into Holton Lee’s private road.
From Poole take the A35 towards Dorchester and turn left at the Baker’s Arms roundabout onto the A351 signed Wareham for ¼ mile. Turn left just after the Romany Trading Estate into Holton Lee’s private road.
From Dorchester take the A35 towards Poole and turn right at the Baker’s Arms roundabout onto the A351 signed Wareham for ¼ mile. Turn left just after the Romany Trading Estate into Holton Lee’s private road.
