Avon Heath Country Park Countryside

Avon Heath is Dorset's largest country park and offers a mosaic of glorious heathland and woodland to explore.

You can enjoy a walk or cycle along one of the trails and discover some of the abundant wildlife.

Amuse the kids on the playground, on a fun family trail or with one of the special events that run regularly thoughout the year. Alternatively simply relax on the green, have a picnic, hire a BBQ or have a fry up in the cafe.

Opening Times

Visitor Centre is open 11am-4pm daily
Park Gates open at 8am, closing times vary, please check on your arrival to the park.

Parking charges:
50p for upto half an hour
£2 for upto 2 hours
£3.50 all day

We are 2 miles west of Ringwood on the A31.
