Beachfront period B&B and S/C apartments with extensive secluded gardens giving views of Portland Harbour,Chesil Bank and Sandsfoot Castle. Heated pool, coastalpath, offstreet parking.
Unique in Weymouth being set over an acre of secluded gardens overlooking Portland harbour and Chesil bank with direct access to shelving, quiet, sandy beach with ruined castle and charming cafe. These panoramic views together with our pool, trampoline, and other activities for children: summer house and observation decks for adults make our guests feel we are a holiday destination in ourselves. However they are only 5mins drive and 10-15mins stroll along the coastalpath to the town with its attractive and unspoilt fishing harbour and regency seafront or, in the other direction, the wildness of Chesil and Fleet Lagoon.
Our house is a large Victorian villa furnished and decorated in flamboyant period manner yet with all modern comforts including flat screen TV’s/DVD’s, WIFI, power showers. Guests are welcome to relax with a drink, guidebook or magazine in our distinctive sitting room.
The three separate apartments in the tranquil gardens are comfortable, fully equipped with lovely seaviews, perfect for that longer stay. At Xmas/ New Year and some weeks in summer we let the whole house out, which makes a great holiday for large family groups or parties of friends.
As a family we try to make our guests feel as "at home" as possible from serving breakfast at times convenient to them, welcoming their dogs, offering babysitting, drinks, a library of DVD’s and videos, ferrying in the car, use of boats/wetsuits and arranging launching/storing facilities for their own boats.
