St Andrew's Church, Trent
Trent
Sherborne
The village of Trent, formerly in Somerset, abounds in good architecture, Medieval, Tudor and later, with plenty of well established trees as a background. There are few churches in Dorset with so much to enjoy.
The lateral tower is crowned by one of three ancient stone spires of Dorset which was rebuilt in 1908.
The east window contains interesting old painted glass, mostly 16th and 17th century foreign work.
Within the churchyard stands a very fine Medieval Chantry House.
