This church is of considerable architectural interest and contains an important 12th century font, some very fine tombs of the 13th-16th centuries and much well preserved 17th century woodwork.
The west gallery with turned balusters is dated 1635. The pulpit is a three decker pulpit with one tier of unusually elongated blank arches, a back plate and tester.
The knight effigies found in the south chapel are some of the finest in the county.
