CREATE - Contemporary Craft Show at Walford Mill Arts & craft

Visit this high quality contemporary craft show, featuring approximately 20 top craftspeople selling their work. Demonstrations and workshops will take place throughout the weekend.

The courtyard at Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne will be buzzing with the sounds of the whirring of the potter's wheel, the tapping of chisels and the clink of iron on anvil this August for the third year of CREATE, Dorset’s premier craft show. Visitors will have the opportunity to view and buy high quality craftwork from over 20 top Creators from around the UK. Fantastic demonstrations and workshops will enable visitors to engage with making of crafts.

Catch this chance to see real makers creating. Pots, bags, jewellery, furniture and wonderful things you will not find in the shops. Never mind the rush for vegetable growing, at CREATE, buying artworks and beautiful things for the home is instant. Weddings, birthdays or self indulgence – all provide a good excuse to visit CREATE and treat yourself to unique craftwork. Creators will let you in on their secrets and show you what is really involved with producing the antiques of the future. Forget about the high street stores, come and see British making at its best.
