THE TANK MUSEUM – THE HOME OF THE TANK
The Tank Museum in Dorset holds the world’s best collection of tanks.
From the first tank ever built to the modern Challenger II, the Museum houses examples from all over the world. Our definitive collection comprises over 250 vehicles dating back to 1909 and many of these cannot be seen anywhere else in the world.
The Tank Museum is the only place where many of these rare and historic vehicles can be seen. You will some face to face with tanks that have seen action in all the major wars of the 20th Century.
Around the Museum, visitors are taken on a spectacular journey – exploring the life of the tank crew and the history of these magnificent machines. In our arena, our bursting summer programme of live action brings you the awesome Tank Action displays. You can even experience for yourself the thrill of ridding in a tracked vehicle. See our website for more information.
A Tank Museum admission ticket is now an annual ticket, so you can come and go as many times as you like in a year (see our website for terms and conditions). The Museum hosts a number of special events throughout the year – see our website for more information or call us on 01929 462359.
