Good, wholesome, unpretentious comfort food, friendly staff and a stunning view - try it - we think you will like it!
Downhouse Farm runs along the coast from Eype Beach to Seatown Beach & on up to Golden Cap so the cafe has outstanding views out over Lyme Bay to Portland.
You will be greeted by our friendly team and daily newspapers, and you will discover that our very varied 'specials' board has something to suit everyone (except chip eaters!)
Quite often people like to drive up and enjoy a walk out across our organic farm, to the cliffs and back before enjoying one of our home cooked 'comfort' meals or freshly baked scones, cream and jam or our homemade lemon curd.
We also offer camping in a small paddock opposite the cafe with views out over Lyme Bay to Portland and access to a useful space in our barn (often very welcome in our inclement weather)
Customers can purchase our organic lamb, beef and pork on Fridays and over the weekend.

Directions
You can reach the cafe by car or by following signs directing you from the coast path inland for a short distance.
Additional Information
We aim to fill that gap between afternoon tea and the lure of the pub!
We can nearly always cater for special dietary requirements.
We do not have an alcohol licence at the moment so are happy for you to bring your own bottle for a small corkage fee of £1.50.
