Simon Thomas Pirie Furniture design and make beautiful one off pieces of furniture to commission for private and corporate clients. Based near Bere Regis, the workshops and showroom are open to visitors.
Simon Thomas Pirie Furniture completed the move into the Courtyard Workshops at Rogers Hill Farm in 2008, which is also the year he celebrated 10 years of making fine furniture.
Simon tends to use British hardwoods like oak, elm, walnut, sycamore which have a distinctive character. His work has been described as ‘a blend of classic form and proportion, mixed with crisp, contemporary detailing’.
Simon always welcomes visitors and prospective clients to the workshops where you will see finished items like dining sets, cabinets, occasional tables as well as parts of much larger interior projects like kitchens. All the work, from coffee tables to a complete room set is given the same exacting attention to detail.
The workshops are open for special weekend events 2 to 3 times a year as well as during Dorset and Purbeck Art Weeks.
Please phone or email to ensure we are in first.
