A Dorset first - blending cakes and cosmetics!
We are delighted that two of Hidden Dorset's Gems are working together to produce new truly Dorset product.
Honeybuns and Filberts Bees have grabbed an opportunity and come up with a fresh new flavour idea for a Lip Balm.
Honeybuns, who jointly won the Inspirational Food Business Award in the Dorset Taste Awards 2008, produce extremely yummy gluten free cakes and biscuits, are delighted to be working with Filberts Bees of Muckleford.
Philida and her son Mark are bee farmers and make magical lip balms, hand salves and honeys. Mark is an expert in perfumes and flavours and he is working with Honey Buns to design their own perfectly edible sounding Honeybuns Snowy Hills lip balm.
Honeybuns and Filberts, along with the team at Hidden Dorset (and all right thinking people) share a love of the Dorset countryside and its creatures great; we here at Hidden Dorset also share a love of the wonderful local businesses great and small and are excited to see some of our favourites working together and just the kind of innovative and clever thing that get's us excited!
